A budget your team can use
Turn ministry priorities into amounts, responsibilities and review dates.
23 October 2026 · ENBegin with the work
Agree which activities need resources, who is responsible and when they will happen. Separate routine needs from one-time projects. Use amounts supported by actual information rather than treating a wish list as an approved budget.
Connect plans with records
Map budget lines to expense categories; classify received money separately through fund allocations. Review actual received giving and recorded expenditure separately from expected income and unfulfilled pledges. A budget is a planning tool; it does not move money.
Review together
Use regular, concise reviews to explain differences and agree adjustments. Record who approved a change and why. Advanced budgeting and analysis depend on the published plan available to your workspace.
