From a pledge to a dependable receipt
Keep promises, payment declarations and received money distinct.
23 October 2026 · ENA promise is a starting point
A pledge records an intention, amount and expected date. It helps planning but should not be counted as money already received. Keep the original promise and follow partial fulfilment accurately.
Verify before issuing a receipt
Compare a payment declaration with the church’s trusted payment or bank record. Use the authorised receiving and verification workflow. A reference, screenshot or message can support a review but does not replace confirmation.
Make corrections traceable
If a classification or amount was wrong, record an authorised correction with a reason. Keep the receipt reference and related evidence so another responsible person can understand the change.
